There Was An Old Lady... Celebrate Poetry on April 18

I love the poem "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly" and now there are so many variations on that story.  I make graphics of the many things the old lady swallowed and I print them on card stock and then laminate them.
Just use a clothespin bag like this one.  Add eyes, a nose, some teeth, hair, and some trim.  I also added die-cut hands.  The bag comes with its own hanger.
Students get to come up and place the different things in her "mouth" in sequential order as I read the story.  I also use this Old Lady puppet to share these stories.  The actual puppet comes with gray hair.

I also use "Mrs. Geezer" on Day 100.
