It's Starting To Come Together: Classroom Set Up

Things Are Shaping Up:

Here are some photos of the things I have set up in my classroom so far:
My Small Group Table.
I meet with homogeneous groups here.
If you are from the RED table, you sit at the red mat,
if you're from the YELLOW table, you sit at the yellow mat, etc.

Setting Up Centers:

Discover Center, complete with Sands Alive.
It never dries out!  You can buy it at Jo-Anns.
Library Center.

Painting Center covered with a plastic table cloth.
Paint supplies labeled with paint sample cards.
Writing Center

Keyboard Center where you can explore and create your own music.
Headphones are a MUST!  :)

Home and Dress-up Center.
Label everything.

Our 1st Science Center:  Magnets.
I placed the magnetic "spheres" in a Mochi tray.
(Mochi ice cream from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, yum!)
I punched a hole in the tray rim, added a string and a magnifying glass.

Puppet Center.

How is your room coming together?
