Planting Beans

We make "flower pot" frames to go around our bean planting bag.  

Now, I added staples to enhance the process.

So cute.

HERE IS THE SECRET TO SUCESS:
I recently learned, from a science presentation at the So CA Kindergarten Conference, that we have been growing our beans all wrong!  They recommend adding a row of staples to the napkin in the zip-lock bag so the beans don't rot in too much moisture way down at the bottom of the bag.  The roots find their way down to the most moisture at the bottom.  Plant beans 10-14 days prior to Open House.
