Here are some of my favorites:

Boomer, Our Class Mascot's, Take Home Book:

In Class Learning:
Send home this journal (each Friday with a different student) along with your class mascot, Boomer.
Click the image above to see more info about this product.
Distance Learning:
Send out a photo of your class mascot, Boomer, and have each child cut out the photo and spend the day with this virtual class mascot. Then, they dictate to a parent or write, with the help of a parent, about their day with Boomer.

In Class:
In a small group of 5: Students each choose 1 pink, 1 green, & 1 blue card to create a silly sentence.
They attempt to write the sentence by copying the labels and using the "extra word page" which comes with the set of 48 nouns (pink), 48 verbs (green), 48 nouns for the predicate (blue), the "extra words page," and the master writing template.
Distance Learning:
The teacher shows the class 1 pink noun card, 1 green verb card, and 1 blue noun for the predicate card. Students take turns composing a sentence that uses all 3 words. The ideas are endless! The class chooses 1 of the sentences and the students attempt to write the sentence at home while the teacher writes it on lined paper for the students to copy if needed. After doing this lesson each day, students will begin to be able to write their own sentence with very little assistance.

In class:
In a small group: Students illustrate something that is the shape of the page (like a Dorito for the triangle page). The teacher asks each child what they are drawing and she/he writes that word for the student to copy. The students write the word on the blank to complete the sentence: A Dorito is a triangle. This makes a great class book.
Distance Learning:
The teacher sends home a PDF copy of one of the shape templates. The class brainstorms ideas for the 1st shape, circle. The teacher creates a chart with a quick sketch and a label for each idea. The students choose one of the suggested words, copies it to complete the sentence and illustrates the page. After doing one page each day, each child will have a 4-page shape book which they can take turns reading to the class.

These are just a few of my favorites.
